A few months ago, while a friend and I was looking for a place to eat, we spotted this hidden gem in the middle of Hillside Ave in Long Island, NY. The outside of the building may look like an empty building, but the inside looks spectacular. The walls were covered with bamboo sticks. The section dividers were also made out bamboo sticks. There was, literally, no spot that was not a good spot to sit at. Every section of the restaurant was decorated and decorated well.
The wait staff were very polite and helpful. Even though we were the only two people there, every server helped us, at least, once during our lunch. The staff had on a unique outfit, too. Because of that, it felt like we stepped into an restaurant in Asia rather than one in New York.
For appetizers, we had lamb chop that was seasoned the night before. It was very good. One of our entrees was Thai massaman chicken. That, was also very good. I forgot what was the other entree., but it was also very good.
Overall, the experience was very pleasant and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. Our bill was over $40 (before tips). Good thing someone else paid the bill. Lol. =)
