Clash of the Titans (3D) is a remake of a 1981 Greek mythology movie mainly about Perseus and the city of Argos. Perseus is the son of Zeus who was left to die in his human mom's womb. Fortunately for the humans and unfortunately for the gods, he survived. Perseus was founded and adopted by a family of fishermen. He learned how to survive with just fish and fruits all of his life.
Recently, his human father became frustrated, because they couldn't catch any fish no matter how hard and where they try. His father blamed it on the gods and wishes that someone would stand up to them. A few minutes later, Hades came out of the underworld and killed the Argos soldiers who cut down the giant statue of Zeus. Perseus' family witness the entire incident. Hades turned to the family's boat and sunk it while the family were inside. Perseus tried to save his family, but the boat was sinking too quickly and too deeply into the sea, so he was forced to say goodbye without saying a word to them.
From that day on, Perseus vowed to take revenge on the gods for his family's death. He later met up with some people who shared the same common goal as his. He found out that he was a demi-god, a person who is half-human and half-god. Zeus offered him the opportunity to live on Olympus with the rest of the gods, but he refused the offer. He told Zeus that he rather be human and would take revenge on Hades for murdering his family.
Well, that's pretty much the summary of the entire movie. The movie is about 2 hours long. However, I feel that it should've been much longer. It seems like it was too short and rushed. The scenes were moving too quickly to understand at times. The 3D glasses weren't useful throughout the entire movie either.
In conclusion, I'm giving this movie a 7 out of 10 dragons because it should've been a 3-part trilogy rather than a 1-off movie.
